Nicky Morris – owner of Merry Maids Fylde, Blackpool and Preston – finished a runner-up in a national franchise award.
Nicky was shortlisted in the Women Franchisee of the Year Award, at the 2014 NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising Awards.
She was recognised for her dedication to her business and continued growth and success.
Founded in 2002 in Fylde and Blackpool, Nicky purchased the neighbouring Preston area in 2012.
Merry Maids is part of ServiceMaster, one of the UK’s biggest franchisors.
Nicky commented: “To reach the final three of any award is a triumph.
“But a national award with this much recognition is incredible.
“I’ll share the success with all the team and I know this will provide a boost to us all.”

EWIF is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to encourage women to buy a franchise business, to franchise their existing business or to help existing franchise operations to attract more female franchisees.
The organisation’s regular meetings across the country are extremely well attended.

It now manages a network of independent franchisees in more than 30 counties around the world.
ServiceMaster Limited was launched in the UK in 1959 and is now celebrating its 55th year on this side of the Atlantic.
