Profile Financial Solutions is moving from Blackburn to Preston in a highly significant letting for the Preston office market.
The move has left Manchester-based land and property company HIMOR celebrating another letting success in its commercial property portfolio
The pension review specialists is making the move to Norwest Court on Guildhall Street.
It is taking two floors totalling 6,632 sq ft within the 25,000 sq ft building as part of its ambitious plans for expansion of their Northwest business.
Ian Floyed, managing director of Profile Financial Solutions, said: “Having taken the business decision to increase the office space we had in Blackburn we undertook a detailed search of the Lancashire region and ultimately homed in on Preston as this provided the optimum catchment for recruitment, together with its demographic attributes.
“We then looked at all the available office space in Preston and the upshot of this was Norwest Court, a HIMOR property, in the centre of Preston.
“It was, without doubt, the best office space available.”
Paul Codling of HIMOR feels the decision by Profile Financial Solutions to relocate to Preston is a significant boost for the city’s office market.
He said he was confident that the letting would be the catalyst for further letting success across HIMOR’s Preston offices portfolio, which also includes nearby Guildhall House.
Paul said: “Our investment in Norwest Court and Guildhall House in recent years has been rewarded through securing a number of high-profile occupiers, often in difficult market conditions.
“Our buildings offer quality office space in a range of suite sizes up to 10,000 sq ft.
“They are ideally placed for retail amenities and services, first class public transport and motorway connectivity”.
Codling is confident of building on the Profile letting and believes this may be the start of a trend of improved activity for the central Preston office market. Letting agents for HIMOR were Jones Lang Lasalle and Pinkus and Co.
