From Anguilla to Wales, Canada to Scotland, many athletes from all over the globe will be sporting kit designed by Kukri at this year’s Commonwealth Games.

As well as being the Official Kit Supplier to Team England, the Preston-based sportswear company will provide a range of performance, delegation and formal kit to some of the athletes from Canada, Wales, Scotland, Jersey, Papua New Guinea, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, Anguilla and Guernsey.

Scores of athletes and officials have spent months working alongside Kukri designers to come up with kit that is original and performance enhancing for each individual country’s athletes and delegates.

Phil Morris, Founder and Group Managing Director of Kukri said: “We are extremely proud to be providing kit to athletes across the world.

“It’s a very exciting time for us at Kukri and we’re looking forward to supporting each of the teams throughout the games.”

The Commonwealth Games England distribution of kit starts this week and will run between until June 29 in Burton Upon Trent.

This will be the first time that some of the athletes will have set eyes on their kit.

Kukri will provide kit to Bowls Canada, Welsh Athletics, Welsh Bowls, Scottish Athletics, Commonwealth Games Jersey, Bowls Scotland, Team PNG, Commonwealth Games Isle of Man, Commonwealth Games Northern Ireland, Commonwealth Games Gibraltar, Commonwealth Games Anguilla and Commonwealth Games Guernsey.
