Johnston Press, which owns the Lancashire Evening Post, has reported it is growing its audience and moving closer to returning to top line growth.
The group’s total print and digital audience now averages over 27 million users a month – with total digital audience up 40 per cent year on year in September.
The group reported in an interim statement to the City that it was continuing to grow its digital revenues, reporting a 19.5 per cent year on year increase.
Total advertising revenue decline has slowed – down 3.4 per cent in the third quarter compared to 4.6 per cent in the first half of the year.
