Preston-based Community Gateway Association tenants and members are celebrating after the organisation was shortlisted in four categories at the Tenant Participation Advisory Service Awards regional final.
The body, based in West Strand, is the UK’s first social housing provider to follow the principles of the Community Gateway model.
The TPAS awards recognise local communities, community projects and tenant champions who make a difference across the country. Sue Lyons, one of CGA’s tenant board members, has been shortlisted in the tenant of the year category. Natasha Cowperthwaite has been shortlisted in the Young Tenant of the year category
The CGA has also been shortlisted in the Excellence in Tenant Led scrutiny and, for the second year running, its annual report has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Annual Reports award. The awards take place on April 11 at the Palace Hotel in Manchester.
