Business storage provider Andrew Porter Limited has secured a new three-year contract with neighbouring firm Pincroft Dyeing & Printing.
Pincroft, headquartered in Adlington, near Chorley, has appointed Andrew Porter to create a bespoke storage solution due to its recent business growth.
Andrew Porter Limited has constructed a tailored 8,500 sq ft high bay racking installation with capacity for 900 pallet spaces.
This dedicated warehouse space will store both raw textile materials and the finished goods – metre-long rolls of dyed cloth that are internationally exported for manufacture into uniforms.
Hosting its own purpose-built storage warehouse, the largest of its kind in the North of England, Andrew Porter also provides storage for some of the UK’s best known furniture manufacturers, retailers and importers, including La-Z-Boy UK.
Neil Dowds, production director of Pincroft, commented: “It’s fantastic to be working with our neighbours on the Adlington South Business Park.
“I was really impressed with Andrew Porter Limited’s facilities and the location is perfect. They were able to accommodate our needs and create exactly what we required in a short space of time.”
Tim Aspey, managing director of Andrew Porter Limited is also excited about the new contract. He said: “We are really proud to support another growing business in the Chorley area that operates internationally.
“We have worked together on smaller projects in the past but it’s great to support Pincroft as their business expands even further.”
Andrew Porter Limited won title of growing business of the year in the 2014 Lancashire Red Rose Awards.
