Businesses looking to achieve growth by enhancing their online presence are invited to a free event in Preston next week.

Aimed at businesses from all sectors and run by Creative Lancashire, the evening workshop entitled “Lancashire Digital Network: Measuring Up?” takes place on Wednesday at the New Continental in South Meadow Lane, Preston.

Gary Bennion, head of digital strategy at Preston-based Bespoke Web Specialists, will deliver advice and tips on how to boost conversion rates by improving traffic quality from Google.

With more than 10 years’ experience helping businesses of all sizes to grow online, Gary joins a panel of digital experts, which include David Mapple, director at Outcider and Tom New, co-founder of Formisimo who will discuss how interrogating data and visualisation tools can help businesses gain insights into clients and users.

Gary said: “The seminar will offer practical advice on how to harness the best analytics and conversion tools for your business in order to cultivate quality leads.

“Too many firms focus their efforts on generating high website visits, yet it should be about quality over quantity.”
