Delays on motorway after crashes
Motorists were tonight warned of delays in and around the junction of the M65 and M61 in Lancashire.
Eastbound M65 traffic was slow at junction 2 at Walton Summit after a lane was closed on the exit slip road following an accident at around 7.30pm.
A little earlier, southbound traffic on the M6 was disrupted near Preston after another collision which left a lorry blocking the slip road near junction 31 at Samlesbury.
Police tweeted a picture of a van which they said had been involved.
The M6 incident was later cleared but it was thought the M65 slip road would be closed for some time.
