Britain's Got Talent scouts coming to Preston

Grab your hair brush and start practicing in front of the mirror... Britain's Got Talent scouts are coming to Preston.

It will be the second year running that auditions will be held in the city although, while last year they took place in the Guild Hall, this time they are at Greenlands 2 Club.

The auditions are preliminary auditions so David Walliams (pictured) will not be there to cheer you on but, who knows, it could be a step into the limelight for some talented performers.

Britain’s Got Talent’s official scouts reached out to Haylea Ostranica and the team at Big Star Events to ask for their support in organising the auditions after seeing the talent that Preston had shown last year.

“I couldn’t believe it when I received the call again and knew that I had to get involved because helping people to showcase their talent and gain the skills and confidence they need to pursue their dreams is something I am very passionate about,” said Haylea. “I know from experience that there are so many talented people in our region and I really hope they all come along and perform.”

Talent scouts are looking for a variety of acts and all ages to showcase their talent to the scouts for next year’s show. Every act gets five minutes to perform and comedians, dancers, magicians are all welcome. Tickets to the auditions will be free. There will be no buzzers or celebrity judges present and performers will not know the result of the audition on the day. There will be filming, but not for TV.

To audition on Tuesday, August 18 at 7pm call Haylea on 07380 855592.
