An 11-year-old boy has been hit by a car in Chorley.
Emergency services were called to Bolton Road, near the junction with Pilling Lane, at 4.15pm.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
“The casualty was found to be conscious and breathing, with cuts and bruises and a potential arm injury.”
The road has been closed temporarily while recovery work and accident investigation takes place.
