Business news from the Lancashire Evening Post

Business news from the Lancashire Evening Post

A recycling and waste management firm in Preston is sponsoring a teenager’s trip to a Nepalese orphanage.

Francesca Webb, 15, sent a letter to Recycling Lives explaining that she was £400 short of the £2,000 she needed for her trip to the Himalayan Helpless Children’s Home in Kathmandu.

The firm met the amount, which will cover travel, accommodation and food, as well as gifts for the children and a donation to the orphanage.

While there, Francesca will be assisting in building a library for the children.
