Crews from five fire stations were called to tackle a fire at a farm in Hesketh Bank.

The firefighters from Tarleton, Leyland, Penwortham, Preston and Ormskirk were alerted at 11.30am on Sunday and used an aerial ladder platform to tackle the flames from above the two-storey building in Moss Lane.

Officers believe the fire started accidentally in the building used to store farming equipment.

They spent two hours at the scene making sure the area was safe, and will be returning periodically to make sure the fire is completely out.

Nobody was injured.
