An artisan market held in Longridge’s Old Station and Heritage Centre has gone down a storm.
More people than ever came through the doors to peruse hand-crafted products from members of the Artisan Collective, who were joined by guest artist Natalie Spencer, for the market on Sunday.
Lindsay Philips on Precious Violet Jewellery ran two creative workshops for jewellery enthusiasts on the day, when those taking part discovered how to make their own ‘Gossiping Goddess’ bracelets.
Late in the day, visitors were treated to an appearance from Heather Holden as the Black Swan from Swan Lake. She was accompanied by some little ballerina cygnets, who later busied themselves at the children’s Halloween craft table.
The Design Platform crew was also delighted to report that their charity raffle raised £60 for Breast Cancer Campaign, a cause chosen by the group in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
