Couple wanted by police over the theft of three bottles of wine from Morrisons in Cleveleys on April 11

Police have released a CCTV image of a couple they think may hold clues about the theft of three bottles of wine from a shop.

Officers said the couple were caught on film moments before the expensive wines were taken from Morrisons supermarket on Amounderness Way, Cleveleys.

The man, seen here in blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a dark blue shirt was a accompanied by a woman with long dark hair also wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket.

The incident happened on April 11 and the image has just been circulated by police.

PC Laura Plant, of Wyre Police, said: “Shoplifting is a serious offence that will not be tolerated.

“I urge anyone who recognises the pair or the couple themselves to contact police directly on 101 quoting crime reference number BC1406503.”
