Police have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to after a charity box was stolen from a city centre bar.

The Marie Curie cancer charity collection box was stolen from the bar in The Corn Exchange, Lune Street, Preston in November.

There was around £20 in the collection box.

The man is white, wearing a scruffy black coat, navy blue beany hat with lettering across the front, scruffy trainers and he was about 30 years old.

The charity box was stolen at around 2.50pm on November 12 2013.

Anybody with information is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
