A man was left with four fractures to his arm following an assault.

It happened between 1.05am and 1.20am on Sunday outside Dantes at the Halfway House Hotel on Preston Road, Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley.

It is believed the victim and his partner were involved in an altercation with a group of four men. It is thought that the victim was pushed to the ground by one of the men who then stamped on his arm.

The man was white, around 5ft 10 to 6ft of a medium build with short dark hair and a chiselled jaw. He was seen leaving in a white taxi.
