The sixth annual Riverside Steam & Vintage Vehicle Rally will take place this weekend.
Around 23 full size steam engines will be in steam including many engines not seen in Lancashire before as well as a vintage fairground, trade stands, food outlets, miniature steam railway, craft tent and other live activities are available to entertain the whole family on April 26 and 27.
And following last year’s beer tent success the attraction will be transformed into a Bavarian Bierkeller alongside years “Aunt Nellie’s” tea room to relax and enjoy an authentic afternoon tea.
Live music will be played in the palm court with a piano player and the Wigan Ukulele Club.
The charge for entry is £7 for adults, £6 for senior citizens, £3 for children, under 11s free.
