Lancashire Mind has invited people to an evening of entertainment to help support its work.
The charity’s first annual ball at the Pines Hotel, Chorley on Saturday, October 27 aims to raise awareness and funds for the organisation, which helps people across the county suffering from mental health problems.
Teresa Bowen-Brown, director of corporate fundraising, said: “You might not be aware that one in four people experience mental health stress at some point in their lives and this costs society an estimated £77bn per year.
The occasion promises to be a wonderful evening. We have invited all the friends of Lancashire Mind and we expect the relationships between our organisations will be strengthened greatly.”
The black tie event starts at 7pm with a champagne reception followed by a gala dinner and entertainment, including a prize raffle and auction.
Tickets priced £500 for a table of 10 or £55 per person are available by calling 01257 231660, 07984 052562 or emailing teresabb@lancashiremind.org.uk.
