A fright before Christmas

Have yourself a scary little Christmas... with a terrifying Yuletide ghost show.

Classic characters from Charles Dickens' haunting tale A Christmas Carol will be brought to life in a Victorian street setting as "The Fright before Christmas" begins.

Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghost of Jacob Marley are among the characters wandering Eccleston's Bygone Times in the special one-off show.

And as the evening goes on the ghost stories will begin, sending a seasonal shiver up the spine.

Medium Madame Zora and TV presenter Jason Karl will lead small groups on a frightful but fun tour of the antiques centre, where there will be extreme darkness, light and sound effects and specially composed music.

The Christmas show is the latest project of AtmosFEAR!, which produces interactive horror attractions and events at venues throughout the UK.

Jason revealed: "It should make you jump and laugh. It's still a scare show, but with a bit of a Yuletide theme."

The show, on Saturday, December 15 at 7.30pm, with a two-course meal. Tickets are 55. To book call 01257 451889.
