Peter Gill is to capture the energy of Jerry Lee Lewis firing on all cylinders, with hits such as Great Balls Of Fire and Breathless.

The 47-year-old said: “Around six or seven years ago I wrote a show about the story of Jerry Lee Lewis which I was touring in. At the time I was managing Lancashire comedian Phil Cool and working with his son, Joe Martin, who is a wonderful singer.

“I got picked up by Rock and Roll Paradise, which I jumped at the chance as I love rock and roll - not just Jerry Lee Lewis, but all the classic favourites.

“It is a dream come true and I have been in it ever since. I am now also musical director, which is great and the show has gone from strength to strength.

“It is full of energy and we have a lot of fun.

“I enjoy playing Jerry Lee Lewis. He was the first wild man of rock. He was a great performer and I try to emulate that as much as I can, by jumping on the piano and doing silly stuff.

“It is really important to inject all that excitement into any performance.

“All the performers are the cream of the crop and the audience will love it.

“The show is full-on from start to finish.”

Lars Young soars through Roy Orbison classics, Only The Lonely and Pretty Woman, whilst Gavin Stanley is Eddie Cochran, with Summertime Blues, Three Steps To Heaven and C’mon Everybody.

Buddy Holly is fondly remembered, with Spencer Jordan filling the infamous glasses and taking audiences back to Peggy Sue, Oh Boy and That’ll Be The Day.

The second half opens with a concert within a concert as fans are taken through the years of Elvis’ later tours, complete with Vegas jump-suits, belts and rings, all performed by Richard Atkins.

To finish the show, Buddy, Eddie and The Big O once again take to the stage with compere Big Bopper, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis building to fever pitch, leaving the audience demanding more.

The Paradise Band will support the singers throughout the show and John-Simon Rawlings takes on the mighty role of compere, JP Richardson, The Big Bopper.
