Walkers are asked to take part in a sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay to raise funds for the UK's longest established meningitis charity.
The eight-mile walk across the sands to Kents Bank Station in Grange-over-Sands will take place on Sunday May 25 in aid of the Meningitis Trust.

Money raised will help fund the trust's services including professional counselling, a financial grants scheme and its 24-hour nurse-led helpline.

Participants are asked to raise as much sponsorship money as they can.
If you are interested in taking part, call 0845 120 47 64. Registration costs £5 for adults, £2 for children and £1 for canine companions.
