Two men were arrested after amphetamine and cannabis were found during drugs raids in Lancaster.
Police executed the warrants on Tarnsyke Road and Queen Street on Tuesday.

A 22-year-old man from Morecambe was arrested at the first home for possessing amphetamine and will appear before Lancaster Magistrates on May 22.

A quantity of cannabi
s plants were also found at a house on Lincoln Road.

A 30-year-old man was arrested then placed on bail.

Sgt James Pinder said the warrants were carried out as a result of information provided by the public.

He said: "People have provided us with intelligence and we are acting on that.

"Members of the public can be assured that information provided to us will be acted upon confidentially and this will form part of an ongoing response to anti-social issues caused by drug dealing.

"Members of the public who see drug dealing or who are affected by it should make contact with us and we will be able to do something about it.

"This is about making life better for the vast majority of decent hard working people in Lancaster."
