Two men were injured in separate accidents on Lancashire's roads.
A man, thought to be in his 40s, was struck by a car as he crossed Plungington Road in Preston, near to Bamboo takeaway, just before 5pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital by ambulance after a bar worker at Arkwright's pub dialled 999.

At around the same time, another man was struck by a bus on nearby Adelphi Street.

The extent of both men's injuries was unconfirmed.
