Tom wins first Matthew Hesketh Memorial Award

Sports journalism student Tom Hyde has won the University of Central Lancashire's first Matthew Hesketh Memorial Award.
Tom, 20, received the award from Preston North End manager Alan Irvine for receiving the highest mark in his second year.

The award is named after former student Matthew who died in a car crash in 2007.
