A thai boxer flew the flag for Leyland by achieving a spectacular win at a North West versus the Rest of the UK competition.
Tommy Holden, 28, of Leyland, is trained in Muay Thai and beat his opponent by technical knockout in the third round.

Trainer Rachel Gledhill, of The Red Kite School of Thai and Kickboxing, in Fylde Road, Preston, said: "This is a great result and I think it is fair to say that Tommy was probably one of the best fighters of the night."

Around 1000 people watched Tommy's victory at Bolton's Ikon night club earlier this month.

For more information on Rachel's adult and children's classes, based at Preston Judo and Martial Arts Centre, call 07834192083.
