A cancer charity is offering people the chance to swim with sharks.
The Rosemere Cancer Foundation has organised a shark dive at the Blue Planet Aquarium at Cheshire Oaks, near Chester.

The foundation raises funds to support the provision of cancer services at Royal Preston Hospital and local cancer units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Ron McAndrew, events co-ordinator for Rosemere, said: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go eyeball to eyeball with a 10ft sand tiger shark, but it's his 250 teeth you want to keep an eye on."

For a minimum sponsorship you can take part in the shark dive and raise funds to benefit cancer patients throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.

The shark dive will take place on Sunday, July 30 2006.

For further details or an entry form contact Mr McAndrew on (01772) 522913.
