Supermarket extension to be considered

Plans to extend a Preston supermarket and create up to 75 jobs will be considered on Monday.
Town Hall planners will decided whether Sainsbury's in Flintoff Way, Deepdale, can be extended by the size of a football pitch.

Bosses want an extra 2,481 square metres of sales space, including a new cafe, new entrance lobby and ATM.

Planning officers have recommended the project for approval, subject to conditions.
