A day of fun and activities will be held at Frenchwood Social Club to boost funds for three charities tomorrow.
This year is the 50th anniversary of Preston and District Concert Secretaries Federation and it has chosen to support Derian House, St Catherine's Hospice and Sir Tom Finney's Alzheimer's Fund.

The group has already raised around £7,000 to split between the causes and is now holding the all-day charity event which includes a bouncy castle and slide, food, four artists on stage during the day and an evening car boot sale and a table top sale.

There will also be a Frenchwood's Got Talent competition for seven to 14-year-olds and a bowling competition, as well as raffle prizes and bingo.

The club, on Strawberry Gardens, Frenchwood, opens at 1.30pm.
