Silver car clue in sex attack

Police investigating a sexual assault are now appealing for information about a a silver vehicle similar to a Mercedes or an Audi driving away towards Preston.
A man tried to touch a woman at a bus stop on Hoghton Lane, Higher Walton, at 6.40pm on November 8, near to Higher Walton Primary School.
It is believed he ran away and got into a silver car.

The man is described as 6ft, medium build and 25- 28. He was wearing a grey ribbed beanie hat, blue jeans, a khaki coloured zip up jacket and white velcro strapped trainers.

PC Carl Matthews from Bamber Bridge Police Station said: "The man left the scene in a silver car. If anyone saw this, it is important that they make contact with the police."
