Sight saving advice for people with visual impairments will be on offer at Preston Minster next week.
Galloway's Society for the Blind has organised a special Sight Saving Day to provide support and information.

Equipment suppliers and eye clinic staff will be joined by a solicitor giving free legal advice and a financial advisor and grants officer.

Kevin Lonergan, sight advice centre manager at Galloway's, said: "Many of our members are concerned about their finances and so we've arranged for specialist advisors to be on hand to provide free, independent and impartial advice.

"We hope many people will come along on the day to find out about the many organisations and services that can help them."

The event runs from 10am to 3.30pm on November 13.
