Three more people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been charged for drug offences following the biggest raids seen in Preston for three years.
The latest charges involving class A drugs brings the total under Operation Nimrod this week to seven.

Nicola Baldwin, 26, of Elm Grove, Ribbleton, has been charged with seven offences of supplying class A drugs and David Fitzpatrick, 19, of Floyd Road, Ribbleton, has been charged with one offence of supplying class A drugs.

Both were due to appear before Preston Magistrates on Wednesday.

A 16-year-old boy from Preston was also charged with one offence of supplying class A drugs and one offence of possessing a class A drug.

He was due to appear before before Preston Youth Court on Wednesday.

Police have already charged David Tattersall, 37, of Dawnay Road, Preston, who appeared at magistrates on Tuesday afternoon charged with eight counts of supplying or being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Darren Moore, 24, of Southern Parade, Preston, has been charged with three counts of supplying class A drugs and three of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He was due to appear at Preston magistrates on Wednesday.

Two-16-year-olds were also charged, one with one count of supplying class A drugs and the other with two counts of supplying class A drugs.

They were also due to appear at Preston Youth Court on Wednesday.

Police community support officers will carry out high-visibility patrols of the area in the next few days.

Operation Nimrod was launched in 2002. It has seen more than £500,000-worth of drugs seized and more than 1,000 dealers prosecuted.
