Police are urging the public to come forward with information about a Preston girl who has gone missing from home.
Maryi Razaq, aged 15, was last seen by her family on Tuesday evening at her home address in Deepdale.

She has not been seen or heard of since and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

Maryi is described as 5ft 5in, Asian, has very long black hair which is often worn in a ponytail, she wears a white ring, white necklace, silver watch and bracelet.

At the time she went missing it is not known what clothes she was wearing, although officers believe she is in possession of a JD sports bag, a traditional Asian dress, pants and shoes.

Det Insp Dave McKenna said: "Due to the fact that Maryi is only 15 years of age and has been missing since late Tuesday evening, we are becoming very concerned for her welfare.

"I am appealing to anyone who has seen or heard from Maryi since Tuesday night to make contact with us at Preston on 203203.

"Alternatively, if Maryi hears this appeal I would urge her to contact me directly as I need to know that she is safe and well."
