RIP Mr Morley. Thoughts are with his family and friends. Tragic thing to happen. My father was knocked down at the other end of the same road Tithebarn st near the guild hall, 2 weeks ago by a taxi which drove off and left him in the road. Two men came out of the nearby pub to help and the Taxi driver must have had second thoughts because he came back after 5/10 mins to help. Luckily he is fine but as this shows could have been different. I do think they need to slow down round this area and take into acct people are regularly crossing here.
