List of schools affected by teacher's strike

More than 30 primary, secondary and nursery schools in the region will close on Thursday as teachers across the UK take part in the first national strike for more than 20 years.
The members of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) are protesting at the government's proposed pay rise of 2.45%.

Schools in Lancashire affected by the NUT strike on Thursday include:

Partially closed:
Carnforth High School - Years 9 and 11 will attend school as normal.
St Michael's CE Primary School, Much Hoole - school is open with the exception of reception and Years 1 and 2.
All Hallows Catholic High School, Penwortham - open to Year 11 only
Priory Sports and Technology College, Penwortham - open for Years 9, 10 and 11 only
The Roebuck School, Ashton - closed but Year 4 will still go on their school trip
Morecambe Road School, Morecambe - the school will be open with the exception some Years 9, 10 and 11 classes.
Broughton Business and Enterprise College, Preston - the school will be closed with the exception of Year 11
St Cecilia's Catholic Technology College, Longridge - the school is open till 1.15pm only for Years 9 and 11.
Northbrook Primary School, Leyland - the school is closed to reception, Years 1 and 2 the remainder is open as usual.
Lostock Hall Community High School and Arts College - the school will be open with the exception of Year 7. Year 9 pupils will NOT attend periods one and two and one Year 11 class will be sent home at 1.15pm.
Christ the King Catholic Maths and Computing College - School is closed to all pupils except Years 9 and 11
St Gregory's Catholic Primary School, Deepdale - School is closed to reception and years 1 and 2
Grange Primary School, Ribbleton - Open to Years 1 and 2 only
Penwortham Girls High School - Closed to Year 10
Frenchwood Community Primary School, Preston - closed to Year 6
Seven Stars Primary School, Leyland - closed except for Years 2, 5 and 6

Lea community primary school is also partially closed on thursday . Not good reporting by the paper , many parents will be thinking their childrens school is open when they have not actually researched properly what schools are open or not .

also Balshaws high school is closed which isnt listed on there aswell.
