Staff at a Preston law firm have landed a national award for their generosity after more than 20% gave away part of their wages to charity.
Workers at Brabners Chaffe Street, which has an office on Chapel Street in the city centre, gave away cash through the Workplace Giving UK scheme, which has a national average of just 3%.

Human resources director Nicola Quinn said: "Payroll Giving has proved to be an efficient and flexible way of helping our people support their charities of choice and we are delighted our scheme has been a continued success".
