Watch mobile phone footage taken by a Glebe Close resident
The moment a man suspected of murdering a social worker in Preston was led away by police has been captured on camera.
A resident in Glebe Close, Fulwood, filmed footage of the arrest on his mobile phone and texted it to the Lancashire Evening Post.
It appears to show police escorting a person from a building to a waiting police van.
The 51-year-old man arrested at the scene has been detained in secure accommodation under section two of the Mental Health Act for psychiatric assessment.
Father-of-three Philip Ellison, 47, of Penwortham near Preston, was stabbed to death while visiting a home.
