Yob jailed for damageA yob who damaged a night club mirror has been sentenced to 20 days in prison.
Lee Mark Ashton, 20, admitted causing £200 of damage to the mirror in Preston's Truth nightclub.
He was given the prison sentence because he is already in jail.
Man found with cannabisA man caught in possession of cannabis has been given a conditional discharge.
Keith Anthony Riley, 24, of Roman Road, Frenchwood, Preston, appeared before city magistrates. He was conditionally charged for six months and told to pay £25 costs. He was also bound over to keep the peace for six months.
Drunk and disorderlyA man convicted of being drunk and disorderly has been fined £150.
Paul Simon Green, 36, of Tulketh Road, Ashton, Preston, admitted the offence. Preston magistrates heard he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Blackpool Road.
He must also pay £15 to a victims' fund and £45 costs.
Woman was assaultedA thug who assaulted a woman has been given a community order.
David Paul Collins, of Christchurch Street, Preston, must undergo a 12 month supervision requirement and complete 50 hours unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £100 to his victim and £200 costs. He appeared before magistrates in Preston.
Drunk spent day in cellsA Lea man spent a day in the cells for being drunk and disorderly in the city centre.
Stephen John Davis, 28, of Parkthorne, was fined £100, payable by a day's imprisonment, after admitting the charge at Preston Magistrates Court.
