The head of a private business group in Preston has criticised calls for a review of the Government's decision not to list Preston bus station.
The 20th Century Society, which applied for the station to be listed, has asked the Culture Secretary to look again at the decision to turn the application down.

Downtown Preston in Business chairman Frank McKenna said: "That there could be a further threat to the already-delayed Tithebarn scheme is unbelievable.

"It is time for business leaders and campaigners alike to look to the future."
