Former vicar learns German to preach abroad

A former Vicar of Warton has learned German to allow him to preach abroad.
The Rev Peter Ford has become the first Church of England priest licensed to work in a Lutheran parish in Germany.

He took six months of language lessons before joining the parishes of Gross Flothe, Klen Flothe and Flachstockheim.
