This is the first exclusive look at what life will be like for fans in Preston North End's new Invincibles stand.
There are 22 executive boxes up for grabs in the £6m stand.

But if you want the ultimate in luxury at Deepdale you had better be quick.

Seven have already been snapped up, with the top-of-the-range 20-seater box worth £40,000 signed and sealed for the next five years by a mystery fan.

Prices start at £16,000 plus VAT for fans keen to get the best – and cosiest – view of the action when the new stand opens next season.

With North End struggling near the bottom of the Championship, chairman Derek Shaw knows demand could depend on which division they are in come August.

He said: "We are happy with the number of confirmed executive boxes sold so far.

"We have had a lot of interest from other clients who are waiting to see what our league status will be before pursuing their interest any further."

Box owners will be able to tuck into a three-course meal with full waitress service and watch a plasma television before kick-off.

The 10 and 12-person executive areas will also be kitted out with fridges and coffee-makers for half-time brews.

Supporters with less cash to spare can buy season tickets for the Invincibles Suite – a lounge where up to 300 fans can enjoy pre-match food and drinks from a private bar overlooking the pitch at the north end of the stadium.

Season tickets for this area are £995 per person.

The Invincibles Stand has been named after PNE's legendary double-winning side of 1888/9.

It will seat 4,500 fans and bring capacity at Deepdale up to about 24,000.

Brilliant, 22 executive boxes, 7 sold already, only another 15 to go then + 300 mugs willing to pay a grand a year for a buffet and some league one football. Oh, and another 4,500 fans that don't want to sit in the spare 8,000 seats that we already have and would rather watch league one than championship football.

I have no doubt that this would have been a great plan had we been challenging for the play-offs again. I think the board has shown a huge lack of insight in withholding investment in the playing staff on at least 3 crucial ocassions; not giving BD the few extra quid he wanted; not backing PS during January transfer window last year; not funding a striker right now!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I'm not calling for anyone's head, its just that looking back you can't help but feel we have missed a few great chances.

At least it will be a lovely part of the hospital or whatever is being housed in it. Derek Shaw you now have a lovely nice ground, and next season we will be able to close 2 stands to keep them looking brand new. What a mess we are in because of you Derek

for gods sake leave of derek about the stand, its needed to be done for the last 6 years. now we will finally have a prem ground.
we now have to back the team right till the end of the season to stay up. if we stay up, i have every faith that AI will be rolling a few heads out of deepdale and bringing a few in, and thats not just my inclination either. come the whites 3 points tonight will do.(( whats the odds for a 0-1 win tonight for PNE ANYONE ????? ))

Are you on a wind up amazon ?
The stand has "needed to be done for 6 yrs", well i beg to differ on that point, as i don`t see what benefit another 4500 or so seats will have when we have about 8000 empty every game anyway.
Also "we now have a ground fit for the prem", surely i don`t need to explain my argument on this point, do i?

While I understand that some people do enjoy football and that it does bring some revenue to the city, what about the rest of us who just have to put up with the problems caused by parking when there is a home game. I seem to remember that planning permision was granted for the first phase of this re-developement on provision that the club sorted the parking problem. However when their proposal, to tarmac half of Moor Park, was rightly rejected they have still been allowed to continue with all phases of the upgrade. What about the people who live around the ground, those who want to go shopping at the various retail outlets in the area or those who simply want to drive through the area to get to other locations.

jacquie I'm afraid its TOUGH, I'm sure you havent lived there for more than 120 yrs ?
so you knew you was moving near a football ground, if you don't like it move away. Simple, I don't want anything for solving your problem, its a free service.

When I moved to Preston 35 years ago the football ground was not as big as it is today and the fans were a lot more considerate. My comments were aimed at the club for not making provision for the increased numbers of fans attending as they were supposed to when they applied for permission to upgrade the ground.
