Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a Preston teenager who has been missing for almost a week.
Maryi Razaq, 15, was last seen by her family at home in Deepdale at 9pm on Tuesday last week.

She has not been heard of or seen since.

Maryi is described as 5' 5", Asian, has very long black hair which is often worn in a ponytail or a bun, she wears a white ring, white necklace, silver watch and bracelet.

She was wearing dark trousers, a white top with a grey sleeveless hooded top over that.

Officers believe she is in possession of a JD sports bag a traditional Asian dress, pants and shoes.

Detective Inspector Dave McKenna said: "Due to the fact that Maryi is only 15 years of age and has been missing since last week we are becoming very concerned for her welfare.

"I am appealing to anyone who has seen or heard from Maryi since Tuesday night to make contact with us at Preston on 01772 203203.

"Alternatively if Maryi hears this appeal I would urge her to contact me directly as I need to know that she is safe and well."
