Family tributes to tragic John

Tributes have been paid to a great grandfather who died in a road accident in Preston.
John Morley, who lived in Deepdale , was 73.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Today the family paid tribute to the pensioner.

They said: "John was at the centre of our close-knit family and his sudden departure has left a massive hole in our lives. He will be sorely missed by his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren."

Traffic police in Preston were today appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened at around 10.30am on Wednesday, May 14.

The accident, at the junction of Tithebarn Street and Ormskirk Road in Preston, involved a Vauxhall Zafira.
