A Preston author is celebrating after his debut novel was published.
Rick Crombleholme, from Lea, penned His Own Blood over a mammoth eight-year period.
And the Summer Trees Avenue writer is hoping for literary success after it was snapped up by American publishers 1st World and is now on sale in 24,000 bookshops around the world.
He said: "It's a very exciting time for me but quite daunting too."
Rick has also started work on his second novel which he hopes to publish soon.
