Crash sparks M6 rush-hour chaos

Part of the M6 was closed at rush-hour after a collision involving a motorcyclist.
One lane of the southbound carriageway was shut off close to junction 31 at Samlesbury shortly before 5pm.

The accident caused rush-hour delays for commuters back as far as Bluebell Way in Fulwood.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said no-one was injured.
