Bomb hoax at Lancashire college

A Lancashire college was at the centre of a bomb scare.
Staff and students at Blackburn College were ordered to leave the site after a "suspicious package" was found at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

Police and a team of army bomb disposal experts were called to investigate the contents of the package which was later found not to contain explosives.

Police are investigating the suspected hoax call.
