A guide price of £200,000 plus has been set for the sale of the former Penwortham police station.
Actioneers Pugh and Company has attracted more than 109 lots for its next Manchester property auction on September 12.
Included is the Penwortham police station with a guide price of £200,000 plus.
The vacant former police station and police houses, on Liverpool Road, are being sold with residential planning consents in place and are being offered on behalf of The Lancashire Crime and Police Commissioner.
The lot will be available to buy at Pugh’s commercial and residential sale taking place at the company’s new auction venue, the Citizen’s Suite at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, starting at noon.
The auctioneers will also be offering a three bedroom, mid terrace property at the Manchester sale on behalf of Preston Council.
The vacant property is located on Blackpool Road and has a guide price of £70,000.
Also available at the auction is a vacant former concrete reservoir tank on Eidsforth Lane in Barnacre.
The property has planning permission to convert the building into a six bedroom dwelling and is guided at £150-200,000.
Stephen Swainson, director at Pugh and The Auction People, said: “We’ve had a strong start to the year already with over 500 lots sold across the North and total sales in excess of £45m.
“We’re seeing people return to auction time and again to invest in great value properties.”
