Not every woman would be crazy or keen enough to spend a week in a shop window being pointed to as if she were in a zoo.
But Rock FM radio presenter Gemma Dee is not every woman - it is also not the first time she has done this.

Miss Dee and her radio counterpart Adam Catterall of the Rock FM breakfast show, are both locked in until they raise £10,000 each for the kids charity Blackburn Community Sports Club.

They have been set a series of tasks which they must complete, and have a forfeit if they lose.

In Gemma's case this has been a snake in her room, for Adam, most recently it was losing his Wii video game.

Now seven days into the challenge, the pair's lack of sleep is beginning to take it's toll.

On the positive side, they have both made new friends, received lots of gifts and support from the public, and are now near their combined target or £20,000.

Gemma says: "Please help me get out of here! I'm going crazy..."

To donate money visit either Gemma or Adam in the Mall Preston, or Blackburn respectively where you can drop your cash into a box - or visit www.justgiving.com/freegemma or www.justgiving.com/freeadam.

Well done Gemma! And well done to Adam too. It's been tough but you've achieved everything you set out to do - and much, much more. Everyone is really proud of you both. Hope you get a well earned rest with your friends and family over the bank holiday. Love to you both xxx
