Preston FM, the community radio station which has broadcast twice yearly since spring 2005, is back on the airwaves.
The station – on 87.9FM – covers news, business, chat and music.

Project manager Richard Lace said: "We don't want to target a particular niche. Rather we're a jack-of-all-trades radio station."

The station is run by arts and media charity Pres
ton Community Arts Project Prescap, with European Community funding.

Broadcasts will continue for one month.
