Diamond wedding Traynor
A modern-day Mary and Joseph are celebrating 60 years of marriage.
Mary and Joseph Traynor, who are 81 and 82 respectively, married on September 21, 1948, and will celebrate their years together with their family at Garstang Golf Club.
The couple met in 1943, while they were in their teens, at St Gregory's School Hall, where bands would play every week.
Joseph, who lived on North Road, and Mary, who lived on St Gregory's Road, when they met, will not be short of people to celebrate with as they have four children, seven grand-children, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mary said she is very much looking forward to the celebrations.

Rosie - Hamblett
Kimberley Rosie, only daughter of Lance and Christine Rosie, and Clinton Hamblett, eldest son of Janet and Steve Hamblett, were married on July 13 at Barton Grange Hotel.
Kimberley is a medical secretary and Clinton is a corporal in the Royal Engineers.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Mauritius and will make their home in Chillwell, Notts.

Walker - Hadwin
Ruth Victoria Walker, only daughter of Mr and Mrs David James Walker and Marc Richard Hadwin, only son of Mrs Molly Hadwin and the late Richard Hadwin, were married on July 26 at the United Reformed Church in Bolton-le-Sands. Ruth, a finance analyst, and Marc, an IT manager, held their reception at Leighton Hall .
The couple will make their home in Carnforth.

McArdle - Goodson
Germane Lynn McArdle, and Phillip Keith Goodson were married at Ribby Hall, Wrea Green on August 29.
The swimming instructor and warehouse manager held their reception at Ribby Hall.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Dubai, Bangkok, and Thailand.

McCrone - Laytham
Caroline Anne McCrone and Michael James Laytham married at Batheaston, near Bath. Caroline, daughter of David and Pamela McCrone, from Allostock, Knutsford, married Michael, son of James and Joan Laytham, from Fulwood, Preston. The bride was attended by Alison and Rosie McCrone, Natasha Laytham and Andrea Lovering, and the best man was Stephen Clayton.

Procter - Kirk
Clare Alison Procter, only daughter of Peter and Grace Procter of Chipping, married Russell Lloyd Kirk, only son of George and Helen Kirk of Martinborough, New Zealand on June 28 at St Bartholomews Church, Chipping. Clare is an RSPCA inspector and Russell is a greenkeeper.
They held a reception at Ferrari's Country House Hotel, Thornley, and now live in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Campbell - McDonnell
Sharron Campbell, eldest daughter of Susan and Bernard Brown, and Paul McDonnell, eldest son of Peter and Marilyn McDonnell, were married on August 23 at St Mary's Parish Church, Preston.
Mr McDonnell is in the Duke of Lancaster's Medical Assembly.
After a reception at Best Western, the couple honeymooned in Fuertaventura.
They will make their home in Penwortham.
