Fletcher - Celebrating 40 years of marriageEddie and Pat Fletcher from Fulwood are celebrating 40 years of happy marriage.
They first met in 1965 and married three years later at St Anthony's Church, Fulwood.
Eddie continues to work part time at Royal Preston Hospital and Pat works at Asda.
They have a daughter, a son and three grandchildren.
They are celebrating their years together with their family and friends at the Claremont Hotel, Ashton.

Roberts - Celebrating 60 years of marriage
Childhood sweethearts Marion and Tommy Roberts celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
The seeds of their romance were sewn when they were infants, flourishing over the years as Marion took on the role of errand girl and bar maid for Tommy's parents: Preston North End's Tommy Roberts Senior.
However, Marion admits that when they later married at St Paul's Church she remained unsure as to her love for him, but assures that she now "loves him more than ever."
Tonight, family and friends will be gathering to both celebrate and admire this great achievement of love and devotion.

Lancashire ladies' help for NSPCC
A GANG of Lancashire ladies were rewarded with day in Scotland for their efforts to help the NSPCC.
They are pictured left at Preston station before they set off on a first class return journey by Virgin Pendolino train to Glasgow for a day's shopping expedition.
All the fares paid were donated to the NSPCC, which also has fundraising competitions on board the train.
Virgin Trains hosted the event to support the valuable work of the NSPCC.

National Operatic and Dramatic Association Awards
Preston Guild Hall and Charter Theatre's own production company Guild Hall Productions scooped four awards at the prestigious National Operatic and Dramatic Association Awards (NODA) at Blackpool Imperial Hotel.
The awards were presented to cast and production team members for the following categories:
Best Production (Entertainment): for Disco Inferno
Best Musical Director: Pete Faint for Little Shop of Horrors
Best Leading Man and Lady (Entertainment category): for Lucy Ward and Graham Easterlow for Little Shop of Horrors
Best Supporting: Gemma Dee, Chelsey Sale and Emily Ainsworth for Little Shop of Horrors
Chris Haylett, Guild Hall general manager and producer for Guild Hall Productions, said: "These awards are of significant regional importance and firmly place the Guild Hall and Charter Theatre at the forefront of producing top quality in-house productions."

Henderson - McColl
Pamela Henderson, youngest daughter of Theresa and Tony Henderson, married Ryan McColl, eldest son of Yvonne and Jim McColl, at Preston Register Office, with a reception at Preston Golf Club.
They honeymooned in York.
